MAALUSH was born from memory.
From watching the women in my family care —
quietly, instinctively, without ever calling it self-care.
It lived in warm oils prepared at home.
In hands that knew when to soften, when to soothe.
In comforting Chai served with chatter.
In traditions passed down not through instruction,
but through presence.
Long before I understood beauty,
I understood care.
Our roots are Kashmiri, where tradition lives on through everyday acts —
and British, where those traditions are reimagined for modern life.
MAALUSH exists between the two.
A meeting of past and present.
Of heritage and now.
The name itself carries meaning.
Maa — for our mothers,
and for all those who nurtured us before we could nurture ourselves.
Lush — the result of that care.
The way it shows up when something has been truly tended to.
Healthy. Full. Alive.
MAALUSH is my way of honoring what came before me —
and carrying it forward with intention.
Because when we slow down, we remember.
When we care deeply, we connect.
And when we return to the traditions that once held us,
we find our way back to ourselves.
This brand is for anyone seeking softness in a hurried world.
For those who believe beauty is not rushed,
and care is not surface-level.
It is an invitation — to return
to tradition,
to touch,
to community,
and to the moments we create when we choose to care
/ care becomes connection
You’re not just welcome, you’re meant to be here
